Trees for All has over 20 years of experience and is a Public Benefit Organisation (ANBI) with a CBF certificate. The CBF checks that Trees for All meets strict quality requirements, thus guaranteeing that our donation contributes to a better world and that we can trust in Trees for All.
CO2 compensation
With Trees for All, we are compensating for our CO2 emissions for 2019, 2020 and 2021. Respectively this is 253.6, 176.5 and 211.3 tons of CO2. We are joining their project in Bolivia.
Trees for All has planted native tree species for sustainable land use in the ArBolivia project since 2008. More than 1100 farmers have joined the project so far. The project area is located in the deforested parts of the Bolivian lowlands and combines planting native trees with coffee and cacao.
CO2 compensation certificates
Nomios Netherlands has been successful at measuring and compensating its scope 1 and 2 emissions since 2019 and has defined that year's carbon footprint as its ceiling year. This means we will not allow our company to grow our CO2 emissions above this target number.
Corporate forest
Together with Trees for All we are planting 2,500 trees in a corporate forest (view certificate). Half of the trees are planted in the Netherlands. At the annual tree planting day in the 2022/2023 planting season, we’ll plant these trees in Dutch ground.
